Black Sticks draw China 1-1 in second Test

New Zealand hockey eves played out a 1-1 draw with China in the second hockey Test at the Taupo Hockey Centre. Rhiannon Dennison struck early for the hosts to go into the half-time break with a slender goal lead. Yang Peng evened things up for China in the second half to pave her side’s win in the two Test series.

Earlier, New Zealand had got the better of China in the opening Test. It may be pertinent to mention that New Zealand had lost to Korea by identical margins of 3-4 to concede defeat in the two Test series.
