Double Joy: Odisha teams bag double national crowns


Hockey Gangpur-Odisha clinched the 4th National Sub-Junior Women’s ‘B’ Division Hockey Championship defeated Sports Authority of India (SAI) 2-1 in the final tie played at Haldwani, Uttarakhand. Punjab took the third spot clubbing Bhopal 13-0.

Meanwhile, there was more joy for Odisha as they won the 4th National Sub-Junior Men’s ‘A’ Division Hockey Championship beating Haryana 3-1 in the final game played at Ranchi. Punjab grabbed the third position pipping Jharkhand 3-1.
